First, product overview:

  Pneumatic control valve is to compressed gas as the power source, to the cylinder as the actuator, and with the help of valve positioner, converter, solenoid valve, position valve, gas storage tank, gas filter and other accessories to drive the valve, to achieve switching volume or proportional adjustment, receive industrial automation control system control signals to complete the adjustment of the pipeline medium: Flow, pressure, temperature, liquid level and other process parameters. Pneumatic control valve is characterized by simple control, rapid response, and intrinsically safe. Usually by the pneumatic actuator and the control valve connected after installation and debugging of the combination of instruments.

Second, product classification:

  A.According to the valve action mode can be basically divided into: straight stroke and Angle stroke two ways.

  B.Pneumatic regulating valve action mode:

  Gas open type (normally closed type) is when the film head air pressure increases, the valve to increase the opening direction action, when the input pressure limit is reached, the valve is in full open state. Usually we call the gas open type regulator the fault close type valve.

Usually we call the gas closed type regulator the fault open type valve. The choice of gas opening and closing is based on the safety of the process production. When the air source is cut off, the regulator is safe in the closed position or the open position.

Third, pneumatic control valve use and characteristics:

  A、Pneumatic control valve is used as a right Angle rotation structure, it is used with the valve positioner, can realize proportional adjustment; V-type valve core is most suitable for various adjustment occasions, with large rated flow coefficient, adjustable ratio, good sealing effect, sensitive adjustment performance, small volume, can be installed vertically. Suitable for controlling gas, steam, liquid and other media.

  B、Features: Composed of V-shaped valve body, pneumatic actuator, positioner and other accessories; There is an approximately equal ratio of natural flow characteristics; Double bearing structure, small starting torque, good sensitivity and induction speed; Super shear ability.

  C、Pneumatic piston actuator adopts compressed air as power source, and drives the bending arm to turn 90 degrees through the movement of the piston, so as to make the valve open and close automatically. Its components are: adjusting bolt, executive body, bend arm, cylinder block, cylinder shaft, piston, connecting rod, cardan shaft.

  D、The working principle of pneumatic regulating valve: pneumatic regulating valve by the actuator and regulating mechanism. The actuator is the thrust component of the regulating valve, which generates the corresponding thrust according to the size of the pressure of the control signal to promote the action of the regulating mechanism. The valve body is the regulating part of the pneumatic regulating valve, which is directly in contact with the regulating medium to regulate the flow of the fluid.

Fourth, the installation principle

For regulating valves equipped with pneumatic valve positioner and hand wheel, it must be ensured that the operation, observation and adjustment are convenient.


(2) The regulator should be installed on the horizontal pipeline, and up and down the pipeline vertical, generally to be supported under the valve, to ensure stable and reliable. For special occasions, when the regulator is installed horizontally on the vertical pipeline, the regulator should also be supported (except for small diameter regulator). Installation, to avoid additional stress to the regulating valve).


(3) the operating temperature of the regulating valve should be in (-30 ~ + 60), the relative humidity is not greater than 95%.


(4) The regulating valve before and after the position should be straight pipe section, length is not less than 10 times the diameter of the pipeline (10D), in order to avoid the valve straight pipe section is too short and affect the flow characteristics.


(5) The diameter of the regulating valve and the process pipeline is not the same, should be connected by reducing pipe. In the small diameter control valve installation, available threaded connection. The fluid direction arrow on the valve body should be consistent with the direction of the fluid.


(6) To set up bypass pipeline. The purpose is to facilitate switching or manual operation, can be repaired without stopping the control valve.


(7) The regulator should thoroughly remove foreign bodies in the pipeline before installation, such as dirt, welding slag, etc.

Fifth, use precautions

1, the valve should be stored in a dry room, both ends of the channel must be blocked. Do not store in piles

2, long-term storage of the regulating valve should be regularly checked, remove dirt, in each moving part and processing surface should be coated with anti-rust oil to prevent rust.


3, the valve should be installed on the horizontal pipe, vertical installation is required. Stem up.


4. Installation is required according to the direction of media flow indicated by the arrow in the diagram.
